The search is on for Niagara's Sexiest Santa! Big-bellied or 6 pack wanna be’s need not apply.

Organizers of The Second Annual Search For Niagara's Sexiest Santa are looking for a charming, charismatic "Junior Claus" to spend a day posing for photos by Grimsby resident and freelance photographer Ron Layton with shoppers at a one-day Christmas shopping event this December in support of 4 Niagara charities/non- profit organizations.

This year's candidate will have some pretty big boots to fill but we know there is a Niagara man out there who can do it!. Event organizers say although physical fitness is an impressive attribute for this Santa role, equally important are an outgoing, friendly personality and the desire to have fun.

All finalists will be invited to participate in a finalist’s night being held Nov. 10 at the Moose and Goose in Thorold. The event is being held as the prelude to Wrap It Up! Niagara's Only Christmas Shopping Extravaganza where Niagara's Sexiest Santa will fulfill his duties on Dec. 9 at Four Points by Sheraton in Thorold. His main role is to pose for photos with shoppers at the show. A portion of the proceeds from the photos will go to the event's beneficiaries: Alzheimer Society of Niagara; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Fort Erie and South Niagara; Community Living Welland-Pelham; and Niagara West Community Hospice. A portion of ticket proceeds from the day will also be donated to the four organizations and each of these organizations will have booths at the show date on December 9th.

The show, presented by PowerFour Productions, is designed as a one-stop shopping extravaganza featuring more than 75 unique vendors from across Ontario, and includes fabulous food and beverage sampling, many door prize draws and a $500 Niagara romance package.
